My husband and I dined here about 3 weeks ago. I had the taco salad and my husband had the wings. Food was delicious.. service prompt and friendly. There was group having a birthday and the Lone Star team made sure to sing and make the birthday memorable. Manger checked in to ensure we were happy with service.. great experience! Definitely will be returning!

Hands down the best restaurant in the area. The restaurant is so nice inside, it is quite open and modern looking with the perfect touch of the Texas theme. The Fajitas there are to die for it is definitively my go to order. Eating as a family starts tog expensive a easily gets into the 100's, I can't really complain, because of inflation and what not, but be aware if you're eating as a group it can get expensive. The staff make it such a positive atmosphere, they are full of energy and it makes all the difference. Go out and come to this restaurant, 100% would recommend.

Last minute decision for a Saturday night dinner. Called at 5 pm, was told 30 minutes, I arrived at 5:30 order was ready to go. Front counter staff were pleasant. We ordered the family fajita meal for 4, it was good! Always enjoy the Lone Star!

Our server Summer was amazing. She was so sweet with our little one and honestly all the staff were so friendly. Even though it was pretty busy, we still felt well looked after. Food was hot and delicious! Always recommend the fajitas and this time tried the kid’s quesadillas. Great portions for the kids meal. Recommend everyone try the guacamole!!

Lone star has finally sorted out there menu since covid. I don't feel like I was getting ripped out. Portions were up to scale and was delicious food. All around great experience. This was my go to restaurant. Looks like they are going to be my go to again.

I brought my wife and daughter to the dinner on Sunday. The food quality is great! The staff is very friendly, the waitress named Jasper is very kind and courteous. The little regret is the speed of dish delivery needs improvement, while I understand it can be a busy Sunday.

In one word, Lone Star is reliable and that's because it's always consistent. For over 25 years, I've been many times, and not only to the various locations in Ottawa, but also to the ones in Kingston and elsewhere ... and every time, it's been a great experience. A few times, I experimented and tried a different plate, but 80% of the time, if not more, it's been those delicious make-your-own fajitas. The unlimited sides and unlimited warm house-made fresh tortillas perfectly complement the chicken and/or beef cutlets that are sizzling in a cast iron skillet with onions and pepper, well seasoned and properly cooked. The pricing is somewhat high, and should be reduced by 10% to make Lone Star a more reasonable option ... but the service is always friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming.

The service was fast and the food was exactly as ordered! Daisy 451 was great at being attentive to coming around multiple times to ask if anything was needed or if she could improve on anything. We ordered the Chicken Tacos and Chicken Enchiladas which were both cooked properly and decent sized servings. The margarita was well balanced and my Caesar cocktail was just spicy enough. Good atmosphere and steady patrons made for a nice evening out. Overall, this s the best service we have had in a longtime anywhere.
